Maybe next year I will reach 1,400 miles! Whoaaa!!
This morning I ran 7 miles in 1:02:35 averaging an 8:57 per mile pace. I started at 5:30 and the weather wasn't too cold and I was able to wear shorts. {A major plus of living in the South} It was rainy all day yesterday and it started misting on me a little towards the end of my run.
I also experienced some foot pain that I hadn't noticed until after I started wearing my new Saucony Cortana's. I am not sure that this is the right shoe for me. I can't seem to find a perfect shoe for me and it is a little frustrating! Looks like I may be going back to the Brooks Ghost 3's considering my wonderful running friends are trying to convince me to switch to the marathon in Myrtle Beach next month.
I no longer am working on Saturdays so i am back training on a somewhat normal schedule and will be able to start running with them again. I had signed up for the half but if the full is still open i am going to consider it! SOOO, cheers to a 19 mile run scheduled for this weekend! Let's hope I can make it!! :)
